LEARN A LITTLE MORE...
IIntroducing 'The OARburn Rower', a red-headed adventurer whose vibrant spirit matches the hues of his sunset-colored hair. As part of the rare 1-2% of global redheads, Kyle is preparing for an unprecedented solo, non-stop, and unsupported 4,000-mile row across the Atlantic—a feat so daring, it’s never been attempted before.
This extraordinary journey, driven by personal ties to skin cancer and the MC1R genetic variant, aims not only to raise awareness of early detection, especially among men, but also to raise funds for the British Skin Foundation, a charity dedicated to skin cancer research. In honor of Granddad Michael, who sadly lost his battle with Stage 4 Melanoma, Kyle’s mission extends beyond personal endurance to support skin cancer prevention initiatives in outdoor professions, such as construction, agriculture, sport, and leisure.
Follow Kyle’s odyssey as he combines his passion for rowing with a dedication to advancing life-saving skin cancer research through the British Skin Foundation.
